Jon Offut is a glass artist who creates pieces such as functional tumblers and colorful decorative vases.  He said in the process of refining his work, he has become in-tune with the forces involved such as gravity, chemistry, centrifugal force, balance and buoyancy.  He says those forces have become the concepts for his pieces.
