Jim Schoon is a unique jewelry designer from Vivian, SD. Through years of study, Jim now brings the knowledge of restoring fossils to the art of jewelry design. His designs incorporate fossilized ammonites, bacculites, and semi-precious gems with hand-smithed silver beads and settings to create one-of-a-kind jewelry. Jim also makes fine jewelry using piano key ivory.
Carolyn Kettler Juvland is a unique jewelry designer from Peever, SD, specializing in Recycled Technology jewelry. Carolyn was raised to see beauty, so she couldn't help but notice the unique high tech pieces her brother created in his business. He donated old computer pieces that he no longer needed and Carolyn finds fun ways to put the pieces to use so that others may enjoy them as well.
Janet Carroll resides in DeSmet, SD.
Julie Kittlesrud specializes in borosillicate (pyrex) lampworked glass beads and pendants. She has become known for her doughnut shaped small bracelet bead sets. This bead shape was created to use specifically in earrings and bracelets. The size lends itself well to be worn comfortably around the wrist and is light enough to be worn as an earring.
