Marghab Linens

The South Dakota Art Museum has a selection of Marghab Linens available for purchase. These linens came from the estate of Vera Way Marghab with proceeds from the sale going to an endowment to further the mission of the Museum. The linens were hand embroidered on the Island of Madeira between 1933 and 1980 by skillful artisans. Recognized around the world for their exquisite beauty, superb fabric and excellence in embroidery, the linens are sought after by collectors.
